The Cabelte Group is made up of a number of industrial companies - Cabelte, Calelauto, Cabelte Incasa, Iberoptics and Desco, leaders in the manufacturing of electrical and telecommunication cables, wiring for the automotive industry, optical fiber cables and power cables.
Portugal Ventures backed the company from 2004 and 2007, aiding the expansion and restructuring of the group which, in 2006, had a turnover exceeding €200 million.

In 2007, Portugal Ventures sold its stake in the company Cabelte SGPS to NQF, a holding belonging to the Quintas family.
