[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Portugal Capital Ventures manages the Regi\u00e3o de Leiria Crescimento – Fundo de Capital de Risco Fechado (Fund), set up on April 29, 2024, as part of the approval of the application made to the Venture Capital Program launched by Banco Portugu\u00eas de Fomento, S.A.. The Venture Capital Program is financed by the Capitalization and Resilience Fund (FdCR), created by Decree-Law 63\/2021 of July 28, and has an allocation from loans from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).<\/p>\n

The Fund is intended to bridge the market gap in terms of access to financial and capital instruments for companies operating in Portugal, encouraging the creation and\/or capitalization of companies, primarily in the start-up phases (pre-seed, seed, start-up, later stage venture – series A, B and C or scale-up), with a focus on companies with growth and innovation potential geared towards exports and\/or reducing external dependence, progressing up value chains and increasing production potential, the green transition and digital transformation, through the development of new products\/services or markets, or strengthening and professionalizing staff, including the management team.<\/p>\n
