Afonso holds a degree in management (ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management) and specialisation in financial management (Católica Porto Business School) and business strategy (INSEAD Business School). With more than 10 years’ experience in the labour market, Afonso has a significant track record in investment banking, more specifically in holding roles as capital markets originator for the Iberian, African, and Central and Eastern Europe markets. He recently led a sales operations and support team in the automotive sector. Afonso is currently part of Portugal Ventures’ Engineering & Manufacturing Division.
