Big Idea

Outgoing started by creating a ticketing platform for university events, selling over 16,000 tickets and reaching 20,000 users. From that experience, the team saw that buying tickets is still too complex, requiring registration, downloads, and external links. Their solution is In-Chat, a conversational ticketing tool that lets organisers sell tickets directly inside WhatsApp and Instagram. Powered by LLMs, it guides users through a personalised buying flow entirely within the chat, with no sign-ups or redirects. It also works as an automated help desk, answering attendee questions in real time. By meeting audiences where they already are, Outgoing is removing friction from ticket sales.
