Adão Oliveira
Investment Manager
Adão Oliveira has more than 10 years of accumulated experience in the venture capital industry in Portugal and Spain, with main focus on Seed and Early Stage investment opportunities. He has a degree in Economics (2008) and a Master’s in Finance (2011) from Católica Porto Business School, having also completed several Executive Programmes held by Invest Europe and Porto Business School.
Prior to his return to Portugal Ventures in 2020, where it has worked from 2012 to 2019, Adão worked as Investment Director at Conexo Ventures in Madrid (the VC arm of the Private Equity Group GED Capital), as analyst at Aicep Capital (now Portugal Ventures), and as Account Manager at Caixa Geral de Depósitos. As a professional in the investment area, he also integrates the panel of experts of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator by the European Commission.
