The energy transition missing piece
Big Idea
KeepIt will bring to the market an energy storage technology, and thus contribute to the success of the energy transition. This technology, with the potential to be a player in different market segments, from solar home systems in developing countries, to electrical grid support in developed countries, will be a relevant contribution to the harmonization between production and consumption in a world based on the use of electricity entirely produced from renewable sources. KeepIt is a spin-off of Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, with roots in the doctoral work in which its founding partners were involved.
